Edward Hopper
Edward Hopper (July 22, 1882 - May 15, 1967) was an American realist painter and printmaker. Although he is best known for his oil paintings, he was also active as a watercolorist and etcher.
Hopper is one of America's most famous artists. His influence on art and popular culture was considerable. His best known paintings include New York Movie (1939) and Nighthawks (1942).
